If you would like to donate to the Myanmar (Burma) relief efforts to assist with their immediate needs, one option is to make a donation to a special relief fund through NBCM (North Burma Christian Mission) where the Morse family has connections. We'd like everyone to be pictured in our new church family album-also know as the Pictorial Directory. We have three weeks for photography to choose from. Reservations for the third week will only be available after the first two weeks have filled up.
Photography dates are: June 24-28; July 8-12 & July 24-26 (if needed)

Parents of newborns and young children are invited to participate in our dedication service. This service is designed to allow parents the opportunity to make a public commitment to rearing their children in a Christ-centered home. Join us for this information packed opportunity! Learn how to influence the children in your individual and extended families toward God and for their growth.
You will be able to attend two workshops. A minimum of five participants is required. Workshops with less than five registrants will be eliminated on May 12. Early registration is helpful to ensure that workshops are not eliminated.
Childcare is available at no charge. If you need childcare, please indicate that when you register.

Lego Contest

Lego Contest
Who:1st – 5th Graders
What: Dream up a fabulous Lego creation. It can be anything! Build a car, a building, an aircraft, superhero, etc. Bring your own Legos or use the church’s Legos. Assemble your creation at the contest (you will have 45 minutes). We also ask that each family bring a new, unopened Lego set to donate. The new sets will be sent to kids at the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis, Illinois, where Anna Hardy (former CCC member) volunteers.
When: Sunday, May 18, 6:00 – 7:30 PM.
Where: Camarillo Christian Church in the Children’s Ministry Room
There will be prizes and refreshments! Anyone who brings a new friend will receive a big candy bar! Please R.S.V.P. to Mrs. Cawelti at the church office. |

We’re returning to Casa Del Norte Mobile Park to serve their senior residents by doing a variety of chores including window washing, gardening, smoke detector battery check and replacement, miscellaneous repairs and other light chores.
We are joining over 30 area churches to spend the day serving the needs of our community. Let’s show God’s love by serving others. We’ll meet at Casa Del Norte at 8:30 AM. You may serve morning, afternoon, or both. For more information please contact Darrell Foote. |

Save the date for this exciting week while we do some character building at VBS 2008. Children (3 year olds thru 8th graders) will learn about patience, peace, kindness, love and joy.
