End of Summer Potluck - We want to celebrate the end of Summer Nights by having a good ole fashion BBQ and potluck on Wednesday, August 5 at 6:00 pm! The church will provide the burgers and hot dogs. Sign up to bring a side dish or dessert at the Info Hub no later than THIS Sunday.  

Leadership Community - Our next Leadership Community Meeting will be on Sunday, August 16 immediately following second service. All ministry team leaders, small group leaders, and anyone involved or interested in finding out more about leadership in the church are invited for a light lunch in Our Corner Lounge following second service.  If you need childcare, please RSVP at the Info Hub. 

Next Step Maturity - We have started a new class for spiritual maturity. It meets three times over a 3-week period where you will be given the tools to create healthy habits for spiritual maturity. In Maturity, we focus on the Four Basic Habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity. ‘That you may become mature Christians, and may fulfill God’s will for you.’ COLOSSIANS 4:12 (PHILLIPS). Our next class will be August 11, 18, and 25 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Register online HERE or visit the Info Hub. 

Family Park Day - Families with kids, let’s gather on Wednesday, August 12, from 9:30 - 11:30 at Arneill Ranch Park (1301 Sweetwater Ave, Camarillo 93010) for a morning of playtime and fellowship! This is a great opportunity to meet other families at CCC. Text our Children’s Ministry Director, Jo-Anne Gerry, to let her know if you’re coming or if you have any questions - (805) 479-7911.  

Dolphin Pantry (CSUCI) - The Basic Needs Program at CSUCI offers emergency food and toiletries, connects students to critical on and off-campus resources, and provides educational opportunities for students to take personal responsibility for their wellness and the well-being of their communities. This is an ongoing opportunity to serve August-May. You can drop off items on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the church and a team will deliver them to CSUCI the following Thursday. CURRENT NEEDS – urgent need for protein, especially canned meats (tuna, chicken, spam), peanut butter and protein bars. Food share has eliminated those resources for the foreseeable future. There is always a need for the standard shelf stable items.   

Pour Kindness into Our Corner Coffee! We need volunteer coffee attendants to help keep our coffee station running smoothly. Sign up at the Info Hub if you’d like to be a part of this new ministry team.
